So I went and tried out the Bilstein's this weekend. I came away really impressed. The road is very rocky and usually about an hour long but I was able to do in about 45 minutes. I also came away very impressed with the Icon springs.

Finally got my wheels and tires installed. SSO bumper is in fabrication and Mobtown sliders should be here in a few months. Tires are the Pirelli Scorpion MTRs in 285/75/16 size and wheels are Volk TE37x Progressives. So far no rubbing but I will have to massage the front fender line.20180908_135650.jpg 20180908_135753.jpg 20180908_135711.jpg 20180908_135812.jpg 20180908_135915.jpg

Thanks. I am very happy with the Bilsteins. They are very controlled off road and big suspension input control is as advertised.

Because I was chasing a noise in the front end of my truck. These are a common issue for our trucks. The passenger side was already worn through the rubber bushing.

So I went go the truck dirty this weekend. I am getting ready for the upcoming hunts. It is really dry but we are expecting some rain this coming week from Tropical Storm Rosa. There also was a fire a couple of miles away which is headed the opposite direction. I am impressed with the Bilstein's every time I take them out.

Been hanging around the mountains for the past couple of weeks. I love how Bilsteins handle the rocky dirt roads around. As expected my tires suck on ice but do great in the snow. There was a steep hill with packed down snow that I could not make it up.

Finally got dual battery system installed. I made all of the battery cables myself.

I also dropped my Mobtown skids, sliders and front bumper off for powder coating. Should get them back this week. I also got the Yokohama MTs installed in the 285/75/16 size.

Got everything back from powdercoating. The sliders were installed today. They are a great design and very beefy.

It was not great, only had an elk tag. We had a drought last summer and then an early snow storm which drove them down. Hoping to draw out for a premium limited area in Southern Utah this year.

Eta: I need to put my 8112's back on. I had a small issue with them and sent them back to Bilstein. They actually sent me a new pair. Just waiting for my bumper to be installed as I am installing 700lb springs.
