Katzkin Leather Seats (pics)

Also as an update, after 3 months of daily driver use these seats have held up perfectly. In fact the summer heat or just daily use has made them fit better than after initial install. I can't say enough about how the Katzkin leather quality is so much better than the cheap Toyota brown leather that's in my wife's 2017 Highlander. Plus being able to customize the colors and pattern is huge.

 

Just had AZ Suntops in Phoenix match the door panels and dash to the stone colored katzkin seats I installed a while ago. Thought I’d post a couple of pics in case anyone else was thinking of doing the same thing.

I got the same thing done on my truck. (nice look, BTW, op!)
My sales guy new the low end cost and didn't mark me up like they could have. I got the full kit, front and back, solid black color, custom platinum stitching for $1,200 installed.

 

JDC, I'm getting leather for my 2017 Tacoma as well. Do you remember what Katzkin colors you chose?

 

Clazzio's are not 100% leather, only the center section (if you order them that way). The rest is vinyl PVC.

 

Nice looking truck, JDC!! I realize this post is over a year old but I stumbled across it researching Katzkin leather. I'm ordering my leather seats tomorrow from a local installer. I'll post pics once it's installed. I'm keeping it simple and going all black.

Thanks...the only thing I wish I got was the TRD logo in the head rest. Didn't realize it was an option til after I placed my order...

 

I am going with Katzkin also. I was quoted 1200 back and front with adding heated seats. I will post pictures when complete.

 

Has anyone added the seat heaters with their Katzkin installation? If so, where did they mount the control switches.

I just had mine done and the heat switch is on the side of the seat near the adjustment knob. Out of sight.

 

Having only the insert (the part you sit on) constructed of leather is pretty standard in "leather" seats, factory or aftermarket. I'd be willing to bet, Katzkins are no different.

With that said though, I'd choose Katzkins over Clazzios every time. A true material replacement will always look, fit and function better than a cover.

Nope. Had a place in Orange County do the install. It was part of the deal when I purchased katzkin leathers.
