Toyota has a 4runner and Tundra desperately in need of refresh. They already refreshed the Camry, Carolla, and Tacoma. On top of that they absorbed all the Scion line.

I wouldn't expect a new Tacoma for a while. How long did they let the 1st gen go?

I think it will be awhile, it is selling well so they are not going to mess with it.

I would do some dirty, dirty things for an air-conditioned driver seat.

You don't want it, trust me. The Mrs has a 2018 Camry XLE, top of the line with JBL, and Entune 3.0. It's dated looking, dreary interface is not intuitive and relies on Scout GPS. She hates it and wishes for a way to get my Taco's UI for her radio. I agree.

    No, no. It's a diesel-electric hybrid, like a locomotive.

Actually, that would be rad as hell. Imagine the smooth torque in 4Lo. Yes pls.

This. The Tacoma and Tundra both got minor refreshes for 2018. Both got updated grilles, safety sense, and the Tundra got updated headlights.

There will be very few changes. The Pro models get new shocks and the optional snorkel. The new Pro color is Voodoo Blue. They'll likely carry-over Calvary Blue into the non-Pro models, just like they did with Inferno/Quicksand/Cement.

It would only make sense to me to wait until 2019 if you're in the market for a Pro or if you want Calvary Blue in a non-Pro.
