Is there a list of all operating temperature ranges?

Looking for a list of temp ranges for my 2011.

    Stuff like...
    Safe oil temp range
    Safe engine temp range
    Safe trans temp range.

    Etc

While I am currently using torque I am planning on adding some actual gauges with sensors in the future to keep an eye on things :)

I think you'll have to add a sender to get oil temp, and it won't tie to your app, it will have to be on an independent gauge.

OEs typically don't monitor oil temp because it's so related to coolant temp. If the engine coolant temps are good, the oil should be fine. Not saying it's the same number, just that there is a relationship.

You can find a great thread here on trans temps by @gearcruncher

Oh yeah I totally understand that, I do actually plan on looking into having some temperature sensors mounted. I talked to a gentleman on here who had had three temperature probe to put into different parts of the truck that normally don't have a measurement, and then he had them wired up to gauges that he had inside the cab. Ultimately that will be my goal.

For the moment though, I just want to get an idea about what temperatures are good and what are too hot for different components.

    175 °F?

Mine seems to never go past 145 to 155, assuming torque is correct.

Trans temps will vary over a broad range depending many factors: ambient air temp, airflow through radiator/ trans cooler, engine load, torque converter lock-up, engine temp
Even if you have the auxiliary towing cooler, the trans fluid still has a small dedicated loop in the main radiator. This is so the engine coolant helps heat up the trans fluid to reach operating temp in cold climates.

Yes, does the special trans cooler normally work this well?

Would explain the high miles/very low wear on my taco.

When it was really hot the other day, my trans temp was at like 180~ for much of my highway driving, and climbed up to 202 when going slowly up a steep hill. Today on the way into work (much cooler out) my trans never even hit 150 on the entire ~26 mile ride to work. Using the OBDII bluetooth and torque for these temps, FWIW.

HAHA that first chart says "Transmission Life Expectancy." Those mileage numbers indicate the life of the the FLUID, not the transmission, right?

It technically shows both transmission and fluid life expectancy.
If you never reach 240 or higher, no abnormal physical damage is occurring to your transmission.
If you do exceed 290 accept that fact that you are physically damaging components in your transmission.
Damaging those components will shorten the life of the transmission. Changing fluid will not fix those damaged components.
100,000 is the max interval recommended if fluid stays at 175 degrees.
Not all ATF's are created equal, so this is a general rule of thumb from analysis of how/ when ATF breaks down.
Hopefully that makes sense. It could have been split into 2 charts but they combined for simplicity.
If your change your engine oil regularly and don't overheat it, your engine will last longer than 100,000.
The same applies to your transmission.
