I'll be honest I just think they look pretty cool.

Probably a better idea to just make the 5-lug faster. IDK if I plan on keeping it still, the plan for now is just to restore it back to stock quality and get rid of it.

I've done a mod or two
You'll make more by just moving it along with a cleanish interior. The people who buy these old trucks don't care much, they'll do their own work as long as it doesn't look like a complete lost cause.

It's ugly and dirty af, but it's getting there. Interior still smells like death even with everything removed. I was thinking I'd cover all the dashboard with plastic and just power wash the cab.

Maybe it's the headliner, I can't get that out. Only interior trim left.

Eh. I'm trying to spend as little as I can, so I'm repainting all the old interior trim in black.

Yeah mine has a lingering dog smell I can't cure even though I put new seats and cleaned the carpet a thousand times. I've wiped every portion of the interior down with conditioner. Only thing it might be is the jump seats but I cleaned them. Oh well, I just air freshener bomb it once in a while. I'm gonna use an ozone generator in it next month and see if that does anything.

It's not like it smells bad, it just smells like musty old car.

Oh well. Guess I gotta live with it.

We had some morning rain yesterday here in Denver and I noticed a really nice wet dog smell... I had my vent on the fresh air setting, I think water got in and moistened all the crap sitting in my blower fan/vent system

I wish that was the case with mine but I replaced every HVAC component right down to the vent tubes when I rebuilt the truck. Also it never rains in AZ haha. The previous owner used mine a work vehicle and the .let it sit with garbage in it for two years. Just seems to have wicked up a nasty smell. Once it airs out for an hour it can be good for a day or two but the smell always comes back. I leave it's window down in the garage to help keep it from getting too stale.

I’m not a fan of it, I think it’s fugly: but why don’t you get vinyl flooring? Easy to clean off and won’t absorb smell.

My whole truck is fugly. Frankly I wouldn't be opposed to putting vinyl in but I need to sound deaden and all of that works sucks to do in the heat.
