Well where do you want them? What type of cab style are they going in? In a box or in the doors? I have a 12" skar in a custom access cab box in my truck.

Used to work on one that had two JL 12's with amps behind the seats in a custom box. I bet youll fit those no problem, just make sure the mounting depth is alright.

Most have rear boxes like this one, or a similiar full box with a port

My one 12 wasn't close to fitting so I just scrapped the seat and made a whole ported box. Also a bonus of being way louder too. :)

still need to eventually find a better way to hide those wires.

Even then the 12's some of these people may be using may be shallow subs.

I have 2 shallow 12s. I think box and all is like 7 3/4" at the base and they barely fit.

Don't think the DDX 12s will fit they are nearly 8 inches mounting depth.. The Skar VD 12s fit easy in there. But Im wanting to know if the Skar DDX10s will fit they are 500 watts over the VD series its a whole nother beast.

Then go out and fold the seat down, and use a tape measure to eyeball it. Looks like someone already told you their 7 3/4 subs barely fit soooo look for a pounding sub thats 7 to 7.5 inches depth.

My box has a depth of 5 7/8" and I have two Rockford Fosgate 10" subs in it. Anything over 6" mounting depth will be TIGHT.....

Dang it's looking like the Skar VD 10s is my only option with a 4.1 mounting depth. They should hit pretty good 500 watts each.

Yep - those will still hit pretty hard! Mine are 50-250 watts RMS (500 watts peak power) and I'm driving them both with a 500w amp. Pic for reference..... you'll see it's very tight. I was able to retain the plastic backs on the seats though. No vibrations or rattling. The box is a tight fit with the sound deadening installed but it worked. I'm gonna get some carpet glued in for the exposed metal above the box. I've also tied up the wiring since this pic to clean it up a bit.

I had to grind all the crap off the back wall and build the box in the truck, but I fit 2 10" Kicker Solobaric (square ones) L7 DVC 2ohm behind the set. I had to remove the bins under the rear seat and grind the inner metal out to make the amps, cap and xover fit. Just fit, no room for making pretty! Lol, the Lunar 2200 still doesn't fit, its mounted diagnal and still rubs against the bottom of the seat!

FYI, I never tried those subs, but tried several othets, Kicker solobaric I find work really well with minimal air space. Alot of insulation in box helps to!
