Air vent seal flapping around

One of my air vents has blown a seal and it’s flapping around like crazy. It’s the passenger left vent. Has anyone had this issue? I’m curious if that vent is hard to disassemble.

 

Pretty sure the only access is behind the dash as it bolts to the dash from behind. I did this once on a Camry, but only disconnected the passenger side and had the wife hold it up while I removed the broken register and installed the new one.

Yes it is a gigantic pain in the @ss.

You would think that it would make more sense to have them pop out the front.
