Hit up Squaw Butte last night, really beautiful views. It’s a great sunset ride and very close to Boise/Nampa. Anyone else been?

 

how much solar wind does that pick up?

 

Heading up to meridian area for the week of 4th of July, looking to get out and explore the outdoors up there. Anyone have any suggestions of fun things to do? Boating, off-roading, fishing etc. Will be flying up there and with a rental car, so I won’t have any supplies with me

 

Bogus Basin and the Boise National forest around Idaho City are fun!

 

Is that Escondido, San Diego county- use to be home of the legendary Valley Parkway cruise nights...

Horseshoe bend has a zip line outfit, and there is cascade rafting company for a little white water action mild or wild. Since you dont have gear If that is your speed both easy commutes from Boise area.

 

Yup same escondido, we spoke about it a bit when I was talking to you about houses up there!
I’ll have to look into the zip lining, that could be fun.
I know it’s plenty to do up there, but since I’m flying up, I’m pretty limited on stuff I can bring. Would love to go fishing or exploring, but would need to be things with a guide or someone to tag along with. Anyone go hunting around there ?

If you go through town and make a RIGHT at that eclectic second hand shop into the Boise National Forest. We tooled around the forest roads and camped for two nights. There wasn't really anything crazy off road, but we found some fun stuff.

Well, my GF is considering selling her 14’ 4Runner with the trail premium package on it. We have my tacoma for the trails and camping, so the runner doesn’t get used much. She wants something more fuel efficient and smaller. It’s Barcelona red, has the locker, skids, ATRAC, KDSS....etc. 3” lift on Nittos and TRD wheels. Not set on a price yet, just seeing what they are going for and if anyone local was interested. It’s got 42k on it and well maintained. If anyone’s looking for one, message me.
