    I've got a gas question...

    So, I have a 300 xc-w. I'm currently running 91 in it, with the bs ethanol content. I know of a place near my work that sells ethanol free 87 but I was concerned that the octane rating wouldn't be good for the engine. Is 87 enough for a KTM 2 stroke? Or does anyone know of a place that sells 91 or higher ethanol free gas in the Littleton area?

    edit: I'm running 91, not 93

    Are you running a high comp piston? If not you could probably get away with running 87. You might only loose a couple hps.

    Brad's Conoco sells ethanol free 91. That's where I always used to go.

    I usually run 87 ethanol free 2 galling mixed with 1 gallon of 110 vp and motul 710 mix oil..... runs really well in mine....

    Nah, the engine is all stock.

    Perfect. I'll have to go stock up on some of that once I use up the shit I have now... I had no idea that website existed. That's super useful.

    Recently bought a bike again and got out on the trails for the first time in about 5 years... Anyone riding this summer?? I’ve messed around on some of the closer OHV trails I’ve driven on in the past but don’t really know where much single track is these days.

    I'm late to the party, but I ride! 2009 crf450r. I'm up near Denver. Its a motocross bike but I'll do trails as long as they aren't too rocky. I ride almost every weekend.

    I least I will once I get my truck back from the body shop... damn hail storm.

    I would just play it safe and run the high octane stuff. I had some pre-det in my old 2-stroke, and it smoked the piston.

    IMI - Dacono
    Thunder Valley - Lakewood
    Jewell Motocross - Watkins
    Two Rivers Racing - Milliken (awesome track!)
    Aztec - Colorado Springs
    There is also a track in Brush, but I've never been.
