I want to know if the 2015 Tacoma PreRunner Factory 6-lug 16 x 7 steel rims will fit only 2000 Tacoma 4WD that has the Factory 15 x 6 or maybe they are 15 x 7 steel rims? anyways, I like the look of the Factory steel rim but just want a little bigger rim is all.
The rims I'm thinking of getting are the ones pictured.2015Rims.jpg

    Yes.

I have 3rd Gen wheels on mine. Most, if not all 6 Lug Toyota wheels will fit.

Just don't get stuck with a 5 lug...

Toyota didn't make many cool stock ones.

The ones you have would look cool plastidipped... jussayin.

5-Lugs use the 5x4.5 bolt pattern, which are common with many cars. Here’s some Mustang rims I found on a 1st Gen.

Someone with a Ford Ranger bought my old stock 6-lug 15” alloy wheels. Apparently their 6 and 5 lug bolt patterns are the same as our trucks.

I'm NOT asking about 5-lug rims, I'm asking about 6-lug rims. Read the original post please.

They will fit but if your tires are bigger than 265/70r16 they will probably rub the frame when you turn, because 2nd gen Tacoma wheels have more backspacing than 1st gen wheels.

So I went ahead and bought these 2015 Tacoma 16" x 7" rims today --- $80 for the complete set of 4 rims, center caps ( which I don't need for the front because it's manual locking 4WD hubs) and the lug nuts. That was a STEAL...... for the STEEL rims! LOL
I will take pics when I get tires mounted and put on the truck. I've read in some posts andI think online also that I can do 265/75R16 on my 2000 Tacoma 4WD and some say 265/70R16. Which size should I put on the 16 x 7 rim??
