Well it says original price was $249 (so they say). An ARB the same size is $299 on Amazon, not that big of a difference. Then overstock.com got it and are selling them cheap to make a quick buck. So they may not be so cheap after all. But they definitely won't be ARB quality.

That’s exactly the reason I got it. It has one leg, its only needed in high winds.

For that kind of money it should deploy itself and include air conditioning.

Definitely not shaming you for doing whatever you want with your money. If anything I'm shaming alucab for thinking their pricing is reasonable.

SO jealous, I bought a 270 but it needs the legs to not bend/break. One day I will buy a shadowawn or similar.

I'm not a fan of open-bed traveling offroad, but that awning is pretty damn slick. What is that white thing on top of the rack?

I agree/disagree with you. Sometimes you have to go cheap to see if you really need something. At the end of the day none of us make money from this stuff (except a lucky few). So as a recreation we have to justify cost of some of the higher quality stuff. I spend thousands on the truck. Not every item costs thousands, however. Most things are quality cause the stuff I do need i end up using lots and can justify the price. Otherwise i buy cheap, find the flaws and and whether i need it or not. Then buy the "overpriced" one that is probably cheaper in the long run. I work in HVAC. I spend an ungodly amount on tools and instruments. Everything is pretty high quality now. But 7 years ago as a 16 year old I bought the cheapest crap. Now that I make money with the tools, I can justify the cost.

    End rant

Looks sick buddy. My friend was gonna pick one of these up. May end up seeing one in person

Ya, pretty pricey compared to others. curious if the upcharge relates to features and durability.

    Um.......okay........

    You judging?

Does the top of that thing get hot on the inside if you set up in direct sunlight?

Nope. The inside has a headliner like a car. I had it in 116* sun in my driveway a few weeks ago and the inside was fine. I however, was not.
