    I didn’t read thru this whole damn thread but use a tiny drill bit to cause the remaining lug nut to split on each side of the threads. Much quicker than drilling thru the whole damn stud. I have done it both ways for friends who like to use impact guns to install lug nuts.

    Edit. Just saw you got it nvm!!!
