Comparable running board suggestions?

New here, new to trucks. If i'm breaking cardinal rules, i'm all ears.

I'm 5'5, my wife wishes she was as tall as me. She needs something to help her up in my truck, and i wouldn't mind it either if i'm honest!

Been looking around at different style running boards and actually like the OEM style ones, or something similar. Something about the flat board that cuts off at an angle at the ends tickles my fancy.

I feel like it's a total sin but i actually came across a set on Amazon that i like - anybody heard of/seen these in person?

They are labeled as 'side armor' - yea right. Still, I'm not an offroader, and I'd be super happy with a lightweight aluminum setup just to get my shrunken family in and out of my truck!

Opinions?

 

Check out the 2nd gen running boards. Many if us are running those. Fairly inexpensive. Mine looked new after 13 years on my 2nd gen.
