I'm running LT265/70R17 BFG KO2's just because mine is a daily driver and I wanted somewhat decent MPG's. The tires are "C" rated and ride just fine.

Wow! I'm surprised to see this happen to yours cuz I just recently installed the pro suspension in my taco a couple months ago & since I live in Canada where they sand/salt the roads during the winters I better coat mine with fluid film before the snow hits here again thanks for the pics!

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I checked mine after reading your post. I’m in Texas though and don’t have anywhere near that kind of rust. I’m sitting at 65k and everything looks fine. Planning on swapping out the suspension before the end of the year though.

I wanna know why these coils are cracking.....I think this is 2-3 people I’ve seen. Rust or not they shouldn’t be breaking especially if these guys aren’t wheeling in their trucks.

The surface rust in both pictures is just that, surface rust and I'm 99.9% sure it had nothing to do with the springs cracking. I think it's just defective springs in a few cases.

I've got an appointment next week for the dealer to inspect, but I'm still under warranty, so we'll see what the response is.

Will check mine when I get home from work this afternoon. 50k on my 2013 Baja AC. Some wheeling and minor mods, but primarily a daily driver for now. Planing to do overlanding mods in five years, so longevity of parts is a concern.

Please let us know if you start a separate thread so we can follow.

I guess I should be glad that I bought a spare TRD Pro Bilstein Shock kit (Part # PTR13-35150) before they were all sold out!...….even though I've been tempted to sell it because my truck only has about 33,000 miles on it......but now I'll definitely keep it after hearing this.

So I just checked mine. No cracks, but the red coating is definitely failing and rust has set in. Not bad, but it ain't going to get better either. Will be watching more closely from now on, and the seasonal fluid film treatments will be extended to the front suspension parts.

Update on my broken spring: The dealer ordered a new spring and will be replacing the cracked spring under warranty. It seems there are still individual TRD Pro susupension components still available for replacement but I got the impression there's not a lot of stock remaining out there for even single items in the kit.

Recently added BAMF bolt-on sliders. Took a long time and the install instructions could have been clearer, but I'm happy with the results.20180603_143057.jpg 20180603_143134.jpg

I hear you, did bolt-ons on my last truck and it was a huge pain. Unclear instructions, missing and incorrect parts, etc ... decided to weld the current ones on.
