No wonder the built a cemetery next to my high school.

The red is the fault line, the blue was my high school.

They’re called Shear Bolts. They’re designed to have the bolt head break off at a certain torque to leave a tamperproof bond.

This guy posted a picture about 9999 followers and who was gonna be number 10k. So I unfollowed him and then instantly refollowed him and this is what I got haha.

Funny to me for some reason.

Yeah Mercs are built of magic and pixie dust I would never ever try to do extensive work on one.

LKQ is weird. I'm looking for a new side mirror for my friend who broke it on his 370z, and on LKQ's database part search that would usually say "Windshield", "Power Window Motor, RH", "Seat Track, LH", ETC ETC there are a few random categories that state "TACOMA" specifically. That is the only mention of a car model on the whole parts select list.

Apparently 'SCRAP REV - 47403 - CRUSHED TACOMA' is a very high demand item.

Ummm in your searchs through wreck trucks and such, if you happen to come across a truck with the 99 tan interior (or the other years ya know) And it happens to have the center console lid/ hinge, the blank square switch panel on the drivers arm rest where I think the mirror adjusters would go if a guy had them and the clock panel in the dash could you pick them up if they’ll let them go for a decent price?

If you don’t want to it’s all fine, definilty no rush either, just trying to clean some stuff up.

I can get more specific if needed.

I have seen a lot of Tacomas and 4Runners at Pick-n-Pulls in my time, at least 60-70 combined.

I have never once seen a center console lid still intact. It's either gone, damaged, or beat to hell. I actually bought a cracked lid to replace the missing lid on my 5-lug, since you know, a broken lid is better than nothing.

Usually these yards don't like to sell small parts separate from their main counterparts since it becomes unsellable without it, but who knows.

Give this place a call, it's where I bought my transmission and a bunch of other stuff to do my 4WD swap. They had about 30-40 Tacomas and 4Runners at least. Super cheap parts and tons of selection. NNAWG Reno Airport (775) 825-6761 ask for Jeremy.

    Not worth it to me.

Frame has rust, cab has rust, bed has rust, engine has 270k, and I know “Toyota” but 270k is 270k.
