    Hey guys,

So I've came to the conclusion that my front driver side wheel bearing is starting to go bad since I have 92k miles on the 2011 Tacoma 4x4 now and front end roar noise is starting to get annoying.

I'm in the market to purchase a pair of wheel bearing / hub that is already fully assembled for me. Saw this kit on Ebay and was wondering if this is all I will need to complete the installation?

    Kit comes with the following:
    -Dorman front hub or equivalent
    -Koyo Bearing
    -Timken oil seal
    -Toyota black bolts
    -Toyota oring

What about this unit? And I go to the dealership and buy my own seals?

Any specials tools I will need to do the installation other then:
    WD40
    35mm socket
    Openend wrench

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I think there are a couple of guys on here who sell the hubs. I'd do a search here in this forum and the For Sale forum. I haven't ordered any, but I read the threads and it seems they have it worked out at a good price.

I bought one from a fella on here ... his thread was locked down by a moderator last time I looked though, just read the thread if you are wondering why. A couple other members sell them also though, was an extremely easy fix with a complete assembly. I would highly recommend going with a complete assembly though.

I changed mine out drinking beer in about an hour, if you have an impact it will make removing stuff like lug nuts, and the hub nut a lot easier. I used no penetrating oil what so ever, if you are in need of new brakes and rotors now is the time to change them.

You will need a torque wrench for the hub nut, its torqued to 150 FTLBs iirc so don't use a short one. You can torque those 4 captive bolts down if you have a crows foot, I just went with german torque on them though. I torqued everything else down. Also if you are not changing out outer seal be mindful there are a springs inside that rubber seal that can slip out easily if you are moving your cv shaft around. I would also pull the rubber O ring off and lubricate it with a small amount of petroleum jelly.

I used a two jaw puller to remove the old hub from the axle shaft as it will be on there fairly tight even with the hub nut off and all 4 bolts loose, it didn't take much but was a lot quicker than beating the shit out of it.

Best thing to do is take your time, and if you are unsure take pictures as you disassemble for a quick reference.

*Super Toyota Pro Tip* There is a small bolt that holds the brake line clip that needs to be removed to get your calipers off, it fits perfect in the rotor removal holes which makes removing your rotors a breeze.
