I just think that a Diesel engine that came in a freakin' UPS truck powering a Mercedes luxury sedan just sound so ridiculous.

It's 'yuge. Far bigger than the Tacoma engine bay, and @madmax700r managed to fit that behemoth in his truck.

If I'm doing up a custom frame I can make it fit. It has to fit. The 3.2l v6 Merc engine in it already it huge it and of itself, the issue I'd run into is height wise.

Oh shit. I know what I'll do.

I'll cut a hole in the hood and have the top of the block peak through.

Nahhhh I'm making this thing as ridiculous as possible. 1 Ton axles, and some kind of Cummins Diesel engine up front with a bigass turbo.

Maybe a Dually rear end? Is that a thing on rock crawlers?

The Rav4 will outlive that Maseratti by several thousand years.

In the apocalypse, there will only be cockroaches and <insert Toyota vehicle here>.

Too much weight, 700lbs with no trans, over 1000 with trans and turbo manifolds

What's that? Just looked at a pic of it and it looks like each wheel has its own differential.

Can I get some recommendations on a good synthetic grease for OME shackles? Asked in the OME Questions thread - nothing but crickets. Going to be installing a full kit on my own, think I have everything planned out - just not sure on which synthetic grease. Reading too much about mystery squeaks and those OME yellow bushings so went with the Wheelers poly bushings which i believe are daystar. Thanks all.

Yeah each whee has a diff and th transfer case has to front outputs. That stuff hasn’t been made sense the 80s

But 2 1/2 ton axels would be cool

Portals are tight. Military hummers use portals.

And @BartMaster1234 only reason you want a dually axel is because the dually hubs push put the width alot if you need that but normal axels should be wide enough
