tires rubbing

i have a 2017 sr5 4x4 i put on
Fox 2.5 Coil-Over
Spg uca’s
17” tires ko2 285/70/17
My tires seem to be rubbing I don’t mind cutting the plastic of the fender but it seems to be rubbing on the frame anybody have a solution?!!!

 

Common solution. Called a cab mount chop (CMC).

 

i took it to a welder today and he said oh no i can't chop it it will put to much pressure on the new weld...

He’s clearly never modified a Tacoma before. Depending on where you are located, there are plenty of people here that have had it done and/or can do it for you.

It’s such a common modification that many vendors sell weld-in plates for just for this.

 

where are you located? i was thinking maybe a steering stop?
