More than I would have thought. Like I said it is likely right around 215-225hp. When it is behaving how it should, it feels powerful, when the boost comes on you know and it feels much more powerful. You likely wouldn't have the same issues j have with a newer ECU and automatic transmission. You'd have higher load because your trans stresses the engine more but you wouldn't have the spikes in between gears that I experience because you have a smooth transition with an auto trans. What I experience is poor mixture compensation from spikes, if I bring the boost on slow it's magic and it takes off. If I bring it on fast timing dives because it pings because the ECU can't adjust that fast for something as extreme as that much air in an instant. But we'll see how all of my mods play here soon. Because people with turbos run up to 12 psi with similar setups to mine but turbos don't have instant boost like a SC so they don't have to battle this type of weirdness. Too bad the taco uses a MAF rather than speed density to monitor airflow, that would solve all of this pretty fast and is likely what I'll convert it too because with a Haltech ECU I can basically design my own engine management system right down to the type of sensors, injectors, hell I could even convert to coil on plug and and infarared air monitor.

For the sake of both of us, I hope you do a turbo. A SC totally sounds like something I want to waste my money on right now, haha.

I didn’t realize the 4cyl made that little even boosted. I think the 5zvfe makes close to like 250 boosted 12psi
With the right setup i think guys hit 300 no problem

Darn... it's only calibrated for helicopter use. I thought BF Goodrich only made tires, not commercial aviation gauges.

If only I had $1,800 and the avionics schematic for a Boeing H47 Chinook.

    It's basically rocket science.

I'm only at 5psi (horrible way to measure by the way since I have a very efficient intake and exhaust) making that much. At 12psi a 5vz should be making well over 250 efficiency aside. My truck makes 150 stock so I'd say I'm doing pretty well at 225 @ 5psi, wish I could give you a more meaningful measurement like g/s because PSI is kinda relative to the individual setup as a means for determining expected power. Can't really compare PSI from setup to setup when you want to compare power but guys like to anyway so they have something other than their micro dongs to swing.

Yeah idk why psi is used.
When its all about the cfm you can move and air temp you have so you can adjust timing and how much fuel you can use.

Wow I actually found a Boeing 747 Artificial Horizon gauge. Only $499.00

It's interesting, one of the former pilot of the plane it came out of owns it. It's from an old TWA 747.

Here's a 747 yoke, which suspiciously looks like it has the right spline count for our steering shafts.

Screw the IS300 wheel. I want to steer my truck with a Boeing 747 yoke.

Yeah I think I'm going to be put on some watchlist for trying to find the schematics for the avionics out of a commercial jetliner.

I would like to, be a good project for next winter. You'd like the SC I'm sure. I want to do a whole standalone boost setup but I kinda think it might be a waste in the truck too. Hence why I want an SC400 or 300ZX, that's why I'd be really happy getting the SC to play along nicely so I don't have to put more money into taco performance and I can go back to suspension and camping fuckery on it. Then I can build something truly fast and the truck stays reliable and simple (the SC is much more simple)

The sc400 when done right and not riced out is actually really nice

Japanese cars are just so much better looking then American cars.

This reminds me I almost got a 1992 mazda mx6 gt turbo instead of a taco. But my dad decided a red turbo sports car would be to expensive to insure lol. But I really liked the dash in that car and it was fun to drive
