I went out and spent a boatload on chemical guys stuff. Looked awesome right after doing it, but a few weeks into it, the water bead was almost gone. Honestly, I just went back to using meguiars ultimate. It lasts so much longer. I think I'll still use chemical guys polish, it's really good stuff.

I got the idea from some one on here. Its the scosche surface mounts with a ramball base attached to it. I took the truck down a fire road and bounced the truck around as much as i could and the iPad stayed in place. I recommend putting the magnet on the outside of the case if you have cases on your devices. The phone didn't stay in place as well as the iPad because the magnet was directly on the phone behind the case.

I started using Blue Coral a long time ago. Eventually I went to McGuires Mirror Glaze and was very pleased. Now I use Collinite and I couldn't be happier. I was just looking for something a little less time consuming but that said the extra effort is well worth the time spent. I guess sometimes you should just be happy with what works.

I use Meguiars Gold Class paste wax in the fall and Mothers spray wax in between. The paste is more work but leaves a real deep shine. Mothers spray is usually good for 2 months but is just so easy to apply.

Hi there! While you were in there, did you happen to notice any good spots to run another wire to the outside of the truck without drilling or otherwise butchering the roof/adding a potential leak spot? Reason I ask is that I'm looking to run a camera up next to or behind the shark fin tomorrow.

There really isn't any place. If you have a double cab with no roof rack you can use one of the covered mounting holes in the rear to run your wires.

Dynamat extreme just about everywhere I could and Dynaliner on top. I know, I know, I used more Dynamat than need but don't care. Lol. Now to just put it all back together...:annoyed:

Dynaliner helps a little with both but also helps keep heat/cold in or out...

    Looks nice.

Did you run a dedicated ground wire from the battery to the new switches or did you just tap from a wire or bolt inside the cabin to ground them?

    thanks,

Added this to my wax job. Waited for it to cool off a little. You can use it in direct sunlight. Super Easy. IMG_20180706_152707028-600x800.jpg
