    Hey, Cody

I assume these liners are still available? I see them on your website.

Very interested in ordering a set after I trim my fenders. Question - for the DIY Trimmed option, is there a specific amount of trimming that these liners will fit? I'm only looking to trim about 1.5".

    Thanks.

    Hey Jesse
The amount need to be trimmed / fitted for the DIY-Trimmed configuration will vary from case to case since this is a custom modification done in most driveways so 9/10 fender cuts are different. As far as that option goes, the liner will come with a wider rounded edge vs the OEM fender cut. This assures there is plenty of material to work with in order to tailor it specifically to your specs.

Has anyone ordered from these guys recently? I ordered liners and guards on 12/14 and haven’t received anything yet. There was a 2-4 week lead time at the time of order but after 5 weeks I emailed and a few days later messaged on TW with no response on either. Would like to know what’s going on. At almost 2 months I’d expect to hear something.

    Hey Joel,
I haven't taken any Fend-X Liner orders within the last 3 weeks. Currently, you can check the site and that product is outofstock because I am backlogged. For the record, the lead time has been posted at 4 weeks for nearly the last 6+ months which is merely a projection not a promise. However, throughout the process 98% of orders ship within 3-6 weeks because everything is made-to-order. Many factors are involved in the production process. For example, in your case you also ordered Splash Guards which has it's own specified lead time separate from the Fend-X Liners. There are a handful of guys in the same boat as you right now at the 6+ week mark. However, I'm working diligently to finish those outstanding before I take on anymore Fend-X orders. Truth is, making those Liners are not easy and very time consuming so it's a hell of a balancing act but I enjoy offering this custom gear to the community which has also offered so much to me over the years. I greatly appreciate your patience during the process.

    ALSO,
    To the Tacomaworld Family,
I'd like to address the perception that I'm some type of big offroad shop with X amount of guys working for me. Although that is my dream oneday, it is not the case today. The fact is, I'm a one man band with a small commercial shop & a night job who has been fabricating and facilitating every order since February 2017. I have single handedly handmade every piece of gear on the market to this very day (in the 1000s). There have been times I'll get to the very last phase of an order and botch a corner, rarely but it happens. Unfortunately/ Fortunately, I have to start from scratch because the last thing I will do is push a product out the door which I put my name on that doesn't meet my quality standards. I've never burned a customer and I'm not about to start now. Could I shorten lead times and pump out products if I had a 30K+ Boss Laser? ABSOLUTELY. That's my dream for this company. Lastly, I appreciate every single one of you who have supported and continue to show support. I'm getting back to work, I'll be in the shop until 7PM Eastern Time.
    MUCH LOVE,
    Cody aka GearTechCustoms

    Hi,
I ordered mine through your website on December 19th. All I got was confirmation and nothing else after that. I emailed several times regarding this through email, messaged you through the chat on here and still got nothing. So I’m sorry I have to put you on blast through this post but if this is the only way to get an answer from you, @cnote4l, then so be it. Where’s my stuff? It’s been paid for and everything. If you can’t provide the product say something and refund me my money.

Post #10 above should help you out. I ordered around the same time as you and started to wonder where I was at in the queue after no initial email response. I imagine he got swamped over the holidays and is trying to catch up. Hoping to get shipment info soon though.

    Cody,
Just put my order in for the fender liners, pumped you’re taking orders again. Can appreciate the small business vibe for sure and understand a quality project takes time!

    All,
Fender liners arrived. look to be a quality product as mentioned by other members, just be prepared to wait longer than you're potentially expecting.

    Cheers

I got mine on Monday and they are beefy as hell! Starting the install today and I’m seeing that an extra set of hands will be useful. Are the tabs at the front of the liner designed to fold in towards the wheel or out towards the (stock) front bumper? I could see it fitting either way really.
