Hey everybody, I appreciate all the help as this is my first Tacoma and don't have parts sources yet. I am finding little things that need to be fixed as usual after you buy. I have at least 4 clips that are apparently broken on my 98 Tacos front grill. It is somewhat loose (I tied some nylon string around it to be sure it doesn't fall out in case the current clips decide to fail) and the clips I found online are $32 for a set of 12, at 1A Auto. Seems a little rich. Any better pricing? I wonder if the dealer sells them individually? Thanks.

You can buy a whole new grill from Rock Auto for around $30... That's the route I plan to go.

I used exterior grade zipties, works a treat!

Same. I bought a 1000 pack of zipties for about what a set of the clips cost.

I was planning to make a thread for this soon too as most of mine are broken. Currently I'm using zip ties as well

From my experience those clips suck, bought some and couldn’t get the damn things to work for me, so i just zip tied it and its rock solid now

If you're referring to the ones I linked to I've used them in my Tacoma and 4Runner. They worked fine in both.
