I recently ran wires thru the grommet approximately where the blue arrow is pointing to. Use a metal coat hanger and push it through the grommet. Use electrical tape to secure the wires to the coat hanger and pull the coat hanger and wires thru.

I was thinking going with an aluminum front bumper to compensate.

This is pretty awesome, did not even know they made one. What kind of wait time did you have with them? My orders are all over the place when I get stuff from them. Took almost 4 months for a Peltor ComTac cover but was totally worth it.

I did it myself. First time I screwed up because I applied at night without adequate lighting so there was a lot of hazing. I had to repolish the whole truck and re apply. Did not cost me much if you add the price of the orbital polisher and car pro uk 3.0 that comes to about $500 cad. The shops here wanted $2500. All prices are CAD.

Thanks. Can’t wait to go again! Like I said, I’ll get some good pics next time now that I’ve reacquainted myself with the park. Only drawback was I got stung in the knee by a yellow jacket. Other than that and the 95 degree weather it was a blast!

Just installed a remote start plug and play with the smart phone module from 12volt solutions and it only took 10mins to get it installed I’m very happy with it and it has GPS tracking that my insurance offers a discount for having with the money I’m saving that will pay for this mod in no time. If anyone is interested check them out at 12volt solutions.com.

Can you elaborate on how the GPS locate works? Do you have to get some kind of plan with it for monitoring? Cell plan or dedicated GPS monitoring plan? Thanks!

The cell phone module comes with a one-year subscription plan it works with the Verizon network so as long as you’re in range of a Verizon tower you can locate your vehicle after the first year they have plans from $29 a year or $59 for five years, obviously after the first year spending $59 for a five-year plan is the smart way to go. Here’s a picture of what the app looks like once you have it all set up.
