    I live in St. Pete

There is some great mountain biking her in Florida. Probably not what you are used to, but there are some great areas to check out. Alafia is probably the closest and one of the best. Check it out. Also have a look at the Florida BS thread on here, as well as the Florida Tacoma Facebook page. Some guys where planning on doing a meet and ride out there soon.

As mentioned by Lee, there are also some fun wheeling spots, about 1 to 2 hour north from you.

    Welcome and enjoy.

I actually work out at the alafia bike shop. I do a lot of the main services out there when people need service. If your out there frequently and got to the shop out there you've probably met me.

Hello everyone Going to be flying out to Tampa this Friday to visit my gf and plan on doing a few things when I'm out there/here!

First stop will be to Fort Desoto b/c I like history + the beaches looks pretty nice, also heard that their is a ferry that can take you to the surrounding small islands.
BrewBus on Sunday (with an emphasis on these breweries: 7th Sun, Angry Chair, Hidden Springs, and Southern Brewing):burp::drunk::cookiemonster:

Gf and I are pretty new to the area tho, any must go places that anyone can recommend? (food, drink, beaches, clubs, activities?)

I'll be making the move out to Tampa in the next few months from OC, I've heard St. Pete is a nice place to live?

Can't wait to visit Tampa!

You have to check out Mons Venus and 2001 Odyssey in Tampa. Classy places to take a lady.

I live half a mile from Hidden Springs, my favorite brewery, what kind of beer do you like? When you are on the islands in Fort Desoto, north beach sand bar has tons of sand dollars you can find (make sure they are dead, can’t keep live ones).
    D3C79755-E379-4F12-83ED-C405A3EDD760.jpg

For food: Ulele, Cappy’s Pizza, Columbia Cafe, Sa Ri One, La Bomba, The Refinery (brunch), Mortar & Pestle all won’t disappoint. Armature Works is also new in downtown Tampa and it has quite a few places to eat.

Let me know when you’re at in the area and maybe we can meet up!

Favorite beer would be IPA's (DIPA or TIPA) also kind of joined the Hazy/Dank fad, stouts are good, hefe's are nice, and am slowly getting used to the barrel aged stuff
If you're available to meet up at Hidden Springs on Saturday evening you are more than welcome to!
In regards to the North Beach Sandbar- SWEET! That's awesome :) I love Sand Dollars, haven't found one since I was a kid
I've heard about Columbia being really good, I'll jot down the other locations so we have some places to go and eat!
Won't have my Tacoma out there yet, so gf's Prius it is till I make that drive across country :bananadead:

Also, any mechanics anyone can recommend? I don't need any work done, just hate going to sh*t hole shops that don't give AF

Thanks for the advice btw

    Shane
