Wanted: Very specific model Tacoma

Right? It's crazy it has literally taken this long and still haven't found one. There is one in Vegas for sale in Silver which is what he wants, but it is beat to hell.

 

Kudos to him though. I can understand trying to find the exact one and especially with so many Tacos it’s great to have one that isn’t seen every other intersection. I enjoy hunting for cars and this is a good one. Will start rotating it into ones I look for.

Also, you may be onto something with a lifted X-runner. Go for it! Guaranteed there isn’t another around plus X owners already get enough sh!t from other Taco owners for having a lowered 2wd truck.

Thanks, I saw both of those listed and he really likes the white one, but that 165k miles is killer, and the seller describes it as pretty beat. It's worth about 10 I would say, but at this point beggars can't be choosers right? He is still looking at the sport, it just became so hard to find that he expanded I guess. Good find though, 2 in one city. Almost every single one of these I have seen over the years is in SF.

 

When we were looking at Autotrader for manual 2wd Tacomas there are probaby 50-60 Xrunners, but zero of this "unicorn' this picky bastard wants.

 

He better learn to love the color red.

Yep, that is exactly it in the same color he wants. I have seen it on Ebay for a few months. It's clean, but has 250k on it I believe. Thanks for finding that.

Honestly I'm not sure, but @TMWTP ought to. I always thought they had access to dealer inventories or some not-public listings of some sort

Bump because I like to annoy people who hate this thread, and because we still have not found this truck. Saw a white one in San Diego about a month ago, sold in a few hours.

 

It's not exact, but my truck will be going up soon. TRD Sport Pre runner, DCSB, automatic, v6. 50k miles. white. Meticulous maintenance.
