I learned to surf on a Mike Doyle foam board back in 1979-80.I think it was 7’-9’(single fin).Remember MD boards Dirk?

I totally remember Mike Doyle boards. Rob Machado used to surf at my local spot all the time on a MD foamie just for fun.

Yep, but it wasnt easy finding a place down here that liked this swell direction. Water is so warm i cant wear my longsleeve vest. Had to take it off cause i was overheating. Trunked it for like 3 hours

@Prayn4surf, that 5'10" Evolution doesn't happen to be EPS/epoxy, does it?

Nope its poly...that shape works great, Im just too fat these days for it, and have replaced it with a scifi same size. Ive had it for a couple years n it just sits there, so its got to go.

Ah cool, thx for the clarification. I'm looking for an epoxy to replace my epoxy Flyer, though.

Way too cold. I’m too skinny, ain’t got no meat on the bones to keep me warm. I did trunk and T-shirt it the last 2 weeks. But the water has cooled down again to mid 60s. Need a bit of rubber. The only tan I know is a wettie tan
