Why does it void warranty if led or hid is put in?

I emailed the guys at tacomabeast and they said that the led/hid bulbs are a bit too big and can cause moisture and fog etc. He said a few people had put flex seal around the gap and hadn’t had any problems

What? How does their size effect moisture?

I don't see how that would effect moisture?

No idea. He just said the bulb didn’t fit in the housing all the way lol

[IMG] I really not a fan of the H1 bulb sockets that's a cheesy way to install a bulb.i'm going to try to install HIDs in mine I already did the LEDs they don't allow you to use the big rubber plug and on the high beams it's about impossible to fit a LED in IMO, plus the smaller rubber cover would have to be modified big time.

You can buy big rubber covers, the retrofit builders get them somewhere. Maybe on TRS or eBay.

Did you end up getting this? Or doing your own?

Has anyone done an LED or HID upgrade? I have Anzos now, they do about the same, don’t fit in the house so I had to make some slits in the rubber but made em cooperate.

    Any feedback or recommendations?
