    Bought my '09 used without a bed mat. In the market now for a good thick rubber one. I've seen the OEM's and they're pretty good but wonder what else to consider that might be thicker and/or better quality.

    You can try a horse stall mat cut to fit. Cheaper than oem. It’s heavy as hell though.

    Honestly the OEM mat can be had for like ~$85 shipped, it’s got a nice “Tacoma” logo on it, heavy duty fiber reinforced, etc. have had mine since I bought the truck in winter 2012 and it still looks great.

    Can’t say much about deezee and others.

    I prefer the BedRug XLT I have in mine. It cushions your knees when crawling around in the bed, and covers not only the tailgate but the hinge area between the tailgate and the bed. That is the place lots of dirt normally comes in.

    I had a Westin, no issues with it, a tad bit cheaper then OEM. Very thick and grippy.
