    • Pelican cooler can last up to 10 days. However, to be fair, we must elaborate on this statement further. There are several factors, which play a significant rolein obtaining maximum ice retention. After conducting numerous ice retention tests on several different Pelican coolers, we have found some interesting results.
Average Afternoon External Temp: 75 Degrees

    10 Days Ice Retention

You already posted that. And to be fair all the tests are lame. No one should care if a cooler full of only ice can last 10 days. Care about how long you need your cooler full of food/beverages cold.

You said no cooler could hold ice for 10 days, I posted link with info saying other wise, you post a video from site trying to prove your point, so I posted the info directly and now all the test are lame and who cares.

all i want is a cooler strong enough to let me stand on it to fly cast. I could give a shit about these retarded ice tests.

I wonder if anyone on the investment threads are "shorting" Yeti yet?

Should be interesting watching that stock tank tomorrow.

I own a $300 plus Yetti and just picked up a “nICE” brand cooler at a local Dixieline Home Improvement center here in San Diego for a mere $69. I cannot tell a single difference between the two and both keep ice just the same. Moral to the story, don't waste your money on brand names and remember that most everything is made in China anyways.

I got an ozark trail tumblr as a gift and it performs so well I'd never consider purchasing a yeti to replace it. If I ever upgrade my cooler I'd look at their products for sure

I bought a big ozark tumbler cause it was cheap, like few bucks cheap, I never considered buying one before, I may have another reasonable sized one for this summer.

Yeti is making a killing off their products. I can only imagine the profit margin. How much did it cost to manufacture their coolers in China (less than $15) and sell them to the public?
