I was using wiring info off your mod to install a QI charger in my 2014 taco and used the Ill+ And Ill- for the lighting on my qi switch and it had 12v when I started and then I accidentally shorted them together so now all I have is 3v across my ac backlight and my qi backlight. They are very dim. Any idea where they are fed from or if there is a fuse I can replace to get back my lighting? Thanks!

Same here! Recirc works but AC does not. Did you ever get this worked out?
Note, I haven't done the polarity switch yet, just plugged everything in with the harness that @svonavja sold me.
Not sure why the polarity switch is necessary to activate AC. Before I could turn it on with the temp set all the way to hot

    BUMP!
Just did the polarity switch, tested and confirmed with an Ohm Meter that I fully cut the old connection and also confirmed the newly soldered ones are good. Still no AC. @svonavja whats up with the harness you sold me? Can you please post or message me the diagram so I can confirm the pinout is correct??

I have a 07 so yours will be different from mine where I have the opposite problem.
FYI, the AC doesn't automatically turn off just because you turn the dial to heat

    FIXED IT!!!
For what it's worth I found the diagram online somewhere and the guy who made the harness had the one pin wrong. At least for my 07 truck. Switched the grey wire from pin 16 to pin 13 and now AC toggles on and off as it should.
You might have to do the opposite.
Can you take a picture of your connection and upload it here for me so I can try and help you?

The attachment is what my harnesses are built on. All of this information was gathered from multiple sources and inputs. Hope this helps. Also switching pins is easy...attached a poor but simple instruction for anyone needing it. Thanks @
    hx989 for the information!!

Maybe it's because I only ever use Tacomaworld on my phone but these attachments don't work for me. Neither did the diagrams in the first post which is why I thought they had been deleted like all EWD's eventually do.
    Anyway I'm good now

    Post swap questions.

My AC compressor kick on when I turn on when using the controls in any setting.

I don’t remember that happening prior to the swap

So my non-electrically-savy self figured out a hack on mine, but YMMV. Since doing the swap, everytime my battery is disconnected for any longer than like 30 seconds or a minute or so, the AC button doesn't work when I turn the truck back on. What worked for me was removing the new AC panel, plugging in the original 2006 AC panel, turning the AC on (which then functions perfectly), removing the 2006 AC panel, and reinstalling the new AC panel. This seems to make the system recognize the new AC panel or something, idk, but it works for me.
