    Quality seems good for the price point. Iirc they have a pretty decent warranty. You can also purchase an extended one fairly cheap as well.

    Is there any need for a battery tender/trickle charger on our trucks? Looks like quite a few of them are part of PD.

    We use them in the aviation world, as the battery gets hit hard in starting the aux power unit and/or engines. It takes over an hour to trickle charge the battery after that hit, and sometimes our flights aren’t that long. The mechanics hook it up in the shop to increase longevity of the expensive batteries.
