Hey guys. I tried searching and posting in other forums before coming here, but I just couldn't find the answers I feel like I need.

I have a 2016 TRD Sport with the Maxtrac 6.5 spindle lift. Fox coil overs in the front, Fox shocks in the rear. I have 33'' Firestone Destination MT2s right now, and they do not scrub in the least bit no matter what I do.

I've been wanting to switch out for 35'' tires and have seen countless tacos with 35's, while looking on customoffsets and other sites. But I can't find anyone who gets in-depth with it.

I talked to Maxtrac today and they told me that as long as I stayed within the 4.75'' backspacing limit that no matter what the offset, the wheel/tire should fit for a 35'' tire. But he didn't sound super confident in what he was saying.

So! Before I spend 3k on wheels and tires, I just wanted to see if anybody had any insight for me. Any response is much appreciated!

The reason for the limited back space is because the tire will rub the upper control arm

You called an industry expert, he answered your question, and now you're verifying with an online community of strangers. Got it

Right, I just figured there would be offset issues even with staying within the backspacing.

The guy at Burger King messed my sandwich up, but he finished orientation. Just because you have a job doesn’t mean you’re good at it. And the people in this forum have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
