So i ordered my full Fox 3" lift kit last night but have been debating on which type of UCAs would suit me best. These Deltas sound perfect. So could i ask everyone for a sound off with their experience and recommendations so far? Keep in mind I'm a total offroad truck noob.

I'd like to 2nd this request ^^ for everyone's experiences with these relatively new ICON delta joints. For anyone that did have uniball UCAs and switched to these delta joints, what has your experience been? My biggest complaint with the uniball UCAs is that the uniballs are very difficult to keep dirt / debris out of the joint, and therefore they are also noisy. The upkeep/maintenance has been significant. I'm hoping these delta joints are not a compromise in strength or articulation, but are less noisy and easier to maintain. Please anyone chime in that has experience with them. Or if anyone chose these delta joints over the ball joint UCAs, like the jbaoffroad ucas.

Had mine for about 15k. So far so good.

You do have to grease them pretty regularly. There is no boot below the joint, so you want to keep the grease moving in a downward direction to keep crap out of the joint.

I'm not using the caps, but I do have a little rubber vacuum nipple on each zerk fitting.
I grease them every oil change. I also use a clean rag or even a Q-tip to clean the crud from below the joint carefully so it doesn't get pushed back up in there..

No noise or squeaks at all

Looking at these also for a King extended travel setup I'm piecing together. Also noted the noise and maintenance that many point to with uniball UCA's and was wondering if these would do away with some of those concerns.

Got sick of maintaining, cleaning, and the squeaking of my uniballs. Ordered these last night. :fingerscrossed:

What did they quote you for a lead time? It was 6 weeks last time I looked into ordering them.

Really? I bought them from metaltech4x4.com, no lead time was posted. I'll follow up and see what they say.

Dammit. Yup, 3-6 weeks lead time. My suspension is gutted right now. Not about to let my truck sit on jack stands for a month+

Bushing points have regular zerks, joint itself has a small port for a grease needle tip.

I bought my brother the icon caps for his b-day to cover up hid ball joints but they are just double sided taped on. He has to replace the tape every grease up. Wonder how he could get a magnet that would fit so he can just pop them off.

He does love his deltas. Solid as of now. His old BJs loosened up in Bout a year.

Had a horrible squeak start after hitting some logging trails. My truste local alignment guy pointed the original ball bearings had crapped out after ~18k miles. Got some new deltas. No more squeaks.
