I had a 3 inch revtech that cost less than 500 bucks on my first 17 Tacoma. In a lot of ways I think it was superior to the icon i have now. Never got stuck, handed really great. I remember one time doing 65 mph in rush hour traffic on my way to see the marriage counselor, i wss spacing off thinking about my wife and realized the traffic was stopped. I darted to the center lane, was dead on and had complete control.

Nice Ride. I have been thinking of the Warn Setup. Question. Does that metal hoop set off problems with your TSS. It's right in front of the sensor/garnish.

Thanks! I decided on the heavy. With Freespirit's new tri-layer 4-season tent, 4 gallon Road Shower, an RV cargo slide/drawer, normal camping gear, bike rack and plans for a steel bumper, I wanted to be able to accommodate the weight. The ride isn't as harsh as I thought it would be.

Yes, it completely blocks the sensor. There's a separate thread on the Warn bumper - someone posted that they moved the sensor up/over and it works. I don't use cruise control and wasn't a fan of TSS so it's not a loss to me.

Thanks. Just moved it down to work with the Pro Grill. Not sure I want to move it again. Probably just go with the SSO.

Nice truck. I'm in the same boat, been driving Dodge Cummins for 15 years. My wife bought her first Tacoma, now I'm seriously considering buying one also.

    Thanks for the comments, Greg.
    a) I’ve torqued them upon install as well as used “blue” strength thread locker. I plan to retorque them again tomorrow as well as any time I switch wheels seasonally (I drive a work van so don’t put a ton of km on my truck). I suppose only time will tell how they hold up
    b) Haha, yeah I hope I’m not devastated with those results

    Cheers

I love the set-up of your truck... looks perfect. I see you have OEM 888 coils and a dakar leaf - what shocks are you running? 5100s? 0 setting? I am buying a Tacoma in September and your lift/level looks perfect and exactly how I want mine to look. Thanks.

Where did you get the grill mess? Was it difficult to install?

Did you install the ECGS bushing, or do you not have a vibration problem with the lift. I am thinking about the same set-up on my access cab. Thanks.
