1998 taco, I bought this kit:
    http://www.lceperformance.com/3RZ-2-7L-Low-Boost-Supercharger-Kit-Smog-Legal-199-p/7015195.htm

Its been on the truck since April, less than 10k miles on it so far. Since its the low boost kit they said that the computer would just figure everything out within ~500 miles. I had the truck on a dyno this summer and the AFR that they got was 16 (also only made 130hp) A few weeks ago I finally got a wide band sensor and daily driving it sits at 14.5 average. Iv been looking for boost reference fuel pressure regulators but cant seem to find one for a 3rz :( I dont know if thats the best route to go either.

Anyone run into these problems? help?

Sounds to me that you need to upgrade your fuel pump. As well as change your fuel filter. If those have not been done.

14.7 is stoich and it's what you should see in closed loop when you're not in boost (idle, cruising) Does the 2.7 have a FPR that can reference a boost source like the 5vz? I'd definitely start with fuel filter like @Torspd said. Low boost shouldn't really need any major fuel mods if you're engine/fuel system is in good order

Filter was done maybe 3k before supercharger.

Even then its boosting its at 14-15, Im trying to find a FPR that can reference boost cause the stock one cant, so far no luck.

One more thing I forgot to mention is when it hits boost it feels like the timing retards cause it just falls flat on its face.

Knock sensor is probably pulling timing.

Did you upgrade your fuel pump?

I havent but im thinking its not the fuel pump because at 5k rpm suddenly it realizes its too lean and jumps to 13.

As in "jumps" down, to 13? That is still too lean for boost. You should be in the 11's, in boost.

I’ve been running your setup for over a year, no issues. The stock FPR can absolutely be run to a boost reference port, mine is, there’s a port in the charger to do so.

There was a urd fuel kit up for grabs in the for sale forum, maybe it's still available.

Have you upgraded your fuel pump, and replaced your fuel filter already?

@BartMaster1234 has the 4cyl supercharger and has done some fueling mods, might have some suggestions

With the 3.4l it's pretty common to need to either do the 7th injector fueling kit, or the larger 6 injectors, or methanol injection. Or go all out with a standalone ECU like the Haltech unit

You can run the 2001-2004 pink injectors for the 2rz/3rz that boast slightly higher CC ratings. However this is a bandaid, it'll never run at its full potential until you get a piggyback or standalone computer to fix the timing and fuel delivery.

I run Methanol Injection and it does help it stay and maintain boost more effectively, however.

Are you auto or manual trans?

I've found the best way to keep closed loop pinging from happening is to shift at above 3K RPM so you aren't boosting below ~2500 RPM in the next gear.

High gear/low RPM boosting is a great way to induce ping

Well I'm guessing my fuel filter and pump is good because the afr gauge will go into the 12s after about 4500
rpm but other than that it just stays in the 14s

Sounds like the ECU has a late switch over to open loop.
