Lee 1092, I went with the 887/5100's, (driver side 1/4"ish spacer) up front. and the Wheeler's 3 leaf add a leaf in the back. For light trail type stuff, at about 1/2 the price of the two kits above, I have no regrets. I didn't change the upper control arms. We just got home from a Northern Arizona, Utah, Colorado trip and the the truck did outstanding. Prescott to Jerome Arizona and Durango to Silverton Colorado would have surly revealed any on road weaknesses. Off road, I, myself, am still by far the weak link...

Can you run the OME 887 coil on the stock Hitachi Sport shocks?

I’m not an expert, but I think the 4600’s only have about 5-6 inches of travel. If you use them with 887’s, you are losing about 2.5-2.75” of that travel. Only leaves you about 3” of travel before you bottom out. Not much at all. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Got my 887’s and taco lean spacer today. 5100’s, Icon stage 3, BFG 285’s, and t-force wheels waiting in my garage for install. Scheduled for Monday...

I never even thought of doing that. Heck I don't know? By the time, money, and effort to install the coils, the 5100's seem like a no brainer.

What tire sizes are you guys running with this set up? I’m thinking about getting a set of 265/75 BFG KO2 right now.

What has everyone experience been going off road with 887 & 5100's? (Purchased my stuff last night)

Just curious to know if there's certain limits ?
My kind off road use would be moderate, I plan to have my Bilstein at "0"

Installed the 5100’s (0) and OME 887’s and love it! Icon stage 3 in the rear, 285/70/17 BFG KO2, and Toyota T-Force wheels. It sits with only about a 1/2”-ish rake and rides great. I was actually surprised that it rides as good as it does. Much better feel than stock. I still have the stock UCA’s and it aligned fine. Plus, no rubbing. Glad I went with 887’s instead of the 885’s. Pics coming later tonight.

I managed to get everything except caster in spec. However, I am running 285/70/17 and putting the caster forward helped fit them.

    Okay here is a pic.
    - Bilstein 5100’s all around (front at 0)
    - OME 887
    - icon stage 3 for rear leafs
    - BFG 285/70/17
    - Toyota T-Force wheels
    - no rubbing, no noticeable taco lean
    - sits very near level with a very slight rake
    - rides as good or better than stock

    Nope but I haven’t been off-road yet

It probably helps that the t-force wheels are only a +04 offset (I think) and 7.5 wide

I won't be off road much at all, I've got 2wd. I'm planning on doing a similar lift to what you did and I'd love to fit 33s

I’ve been researching and reading these boards for 6 months researching and trying to decide. I have to say that it gave me exactly what I was looking for. I think I was lucky in some ways too with the wheels I went with. I really debated UCA’s but glad I didn’t (for now) mainly for the extra $$.

Looks good man, don't be surprised if you start getting some rubbing after the front settles. I bit the bullet and got the CMC done. Glad you're happy that you went with 887s.

if you do the (3rd gen billies) 5100's with the 887, and no rear lift, will it be level or will the front end be higher?

I think you will be nose high about .5-1”. If you weren’t planning on lifting the rear I would probably go with 885’s or at least check in the 885 thread.
