Yeah. Installed mine a month or so ago and I loved how where you need to cut lines up with the bumper once you remove the valance. No need to measure at all.

Did you receive a follow up PSA email from Eddy (SOS) regarding the condenser line? As long as it's not close to touching, you should be fine.

Check out this video. It's a slightly different bumper, but has the rest of it on key (I agree, the printed instructions were very faded). On the video they have to measure to cut the bumper, but with SOS it lines up nicely with the area noticeable after you remove the valance (only need to follow the groove). I also only got one relocation bracket, but it was fine.

    Hope this helps!

I used a Dremel 8220 with EZ Lock rotary cutoff wheels. I went through 3 wheels but it worked (also sanded with the dremel).

I installed this a few months back. I agree that video works for this bumper too. I used an oscilating dremel and cut through it like butter no issues no messed up blades.

    Looks awesome!
Wait, so do you have to chop the front oem bumper where this one goes? I remember seeing an aftermarket bumper similar to this one that required you to cut the front bumper to the contour of the aftermarket one.

Yes. @strktly_bodysurf I was intimidated at first, but when you see the indentation/groove, it's pretty simple (no measuring needed). Just be sure to buy some edge trim to make it look clean afterwards.

Hey guys, I started looking into different bumpers and I like this one cause it is not very bulky and will fit my needs. Just curious on a few things? When it comes to engaging / disengaging the winch when needing to use..how do you access it? I’m sure it is a dumb question..

The 2 trapezoidal / triangularish cutouts to the right and left of winch give access to the disengage / engage lever, and on the other side, allow you to plug in if not wireless.

Code "Jimbo" for 10% off the fab order, excluding shipping / coating

that seems like it might be a pain. But they really look nice on these trucks.

Not sure what you mean. I guess you could pop the hood, and reach down from the top if you want to go in that way, these cutouts work fine though.

Iv never seen one in person, cut outs defiantly sound better than opening the hood. How big are the cut outs?

Thanks for the replies! And I guess you would figure having to reach in through the cut outs wouldn’t be a pain due to how often would you really be doing it?

That's something one has to weigh when choosing how to mount their winch. I use mine at least once every 3 months but never to pull myself out ( not since I put it on my Taco).

How long did the install take?
I want to plan accordingly when mine arrives.
