Sandrider Ruiner. Sick tune. Killer band. Almost played a show with them..Red Fang toured maybe 2011-2012ish, and I’m almost positive they were on the bill, but we had to bow out for some family shit with our band.

Haven’t been on here in awhile. It’s good to be back and seeing all the new music to check out.
Not sure if anyone has checked the internet radio channel Hand of Doom Radio. It’s been pretty good for the week I’ve been listening. Any other good stations out there that you’re listening too?

Sold it to pay some med bills and get the old lady a new car, as hers was a ticking time bomb. Bittersweet to say the least.

Snagged a limited, 10 year anniversary gatefold lp (1 of 300) of Songs To Scream At The Sun this week. I don’t even have a record player, but it reminded me of why Have Heart will continue to be my favorite band. Been listening to them on repeat again.

Any of you gent listen to vinyl? What’s the hype about it? Enlighten a young buck like myself.

    Love vinyl.

-It's a lossless format, so quality is high (though there's digital versions as good)
-You'll often hear folks use the word "experience" when referring to vinyl. Which is true. You have to take it out, flip it over after a few tracks. So it's not just background noise, it requires you to be part of the process. Also, it's fun to stare at the album art and see what they've created.

Are record players fairly similar, or do top dollar items truly produce a better sound?

Spendy ones work quieter, therefore less gen noise. Cartridges do make some diff too.

Unless you’re an audiophile, you’re fine.
