Is there a fix for The Tacoma's noisy truck bed..

I have a 06 TRD Double Cab Tacoma and when I'm driving slow over bumps i can here the bed making a clacking noise. I've seen a forum where this is a characteristic of the composite bed , but is there a fix for this?

 

Are you sure it's not the leaf springs? I've never heard of any bed noise issues, but there is a TSB for noisy leaf springs. Go to the dealership. They put grease and plastic pads between the leafs.

 

This is a bed problem. I have talked to the dealership about mine. They said that there is no known fix for it right now. The only way I knew about it - I drive with my rear glass open.

Now that it is hot outside - Windows up + A/C = no noise.

Do i need i need to replace my leaf springs if i bottomed them out due to heavy cargo that was in the bed?

 

Once or twice would be fine for those springs, but if you do it on a constant or consistent basis then I would get some HD springs.
