I was reading earlier in the thread that since SSP makes more frequent shifts that is what causes more wear on the transmission. I am not saying I agree with it.

Hmmmm.... I missed those posts, I'll see what i can find. On the surface, I don't agree with it either.
Overall I don't think it shifts any more frequently than stock ?

I have one and use it, I fill that lugging the engine and transmission coming up on a hill, slowing down then stepping on the throttle and a long pause lugging then down shift can't be good, you don't have this issue with the SSP, and is no longer a concern, do I know more than the Toyota engineers absolutely not, but the transmission doesn't seemed to strain near as much as it once did. And it has 3 modes, to choose from currently I drive in 1st mode. I love mine.

I think because ssp holds lower gears longer, the transmission actually shifts less often

There is a box for the discount code when you buy it

Edit: I emailed DZ Custom Innovations about a discount code for the SSP V2 and the reply was there are no current sales or discount codes but there is a military discount. The reply didn’t mention how to receive the military discount or how much it was.

Installed this afternoon and couldn’t be more impressed with how the ShiftSense Pro V2 works.

No shifting into 3rd gear with engine screaming going up every little hill

You may not know it yet but you want this on your truck

Might want to test fit the box so you know it won’t rub on your leg while you’re in the seat. Here’s how mine looks after install

Let's just call it my 401K.
I stuffed mine under the Qi charger. You can still hear the beep just fine. Makes for a much cleaner install.

I'll post a pic tonight. There's a metal support piece right under the charger, I slide mine right under that and above
the insulation mat and threw a zip tie around it.

move it forward about 8 inches but under the plastic ,turn it so the switch is down,, the pressure will hold it in place and you cant see it, had mine there for about a yr, but i just had the latest flash done for transmission, and i unhooked it, it will stay under there and you can still hear the beep
