    I know there will be lots of different opinions but I'm really struggling to make and informed decision on my suspension choice.
    First off I have a 2016 TRD OR double cab with mobtown sliders and a custom aluminum front bumper.
    Would like 2 1/2" front and 2" rear lift after sagging while getting the most improved travel and handling on and off road I can get for no more then $3,000
    Thinking of the 6112/5160 combo with UPC upper control arms, wheelers super bumps up front and Dakar medium springs with the u bolt flip kit with the timbren bumps to help with loss carrying for the back.
    The other set up would the fox stage 2 or stage 3 with same extras front and rear.
    Want something to smooth out the ride and not rattle my teeth out.
    Would also like to have good reliability so I could ( set it and forget it)
    Any other options...?
    Can't afford the kings and don't necessarily want to rebuild every 30 thousand miles as that's not convenient for a daily driver.
    Bilstien = digressive
    Fox = progressive
    All thoughts and opinions welcome.
    Thanks in advance

    You can get Kings with SPC upper control arms and a Dakar rear leaf pack for under $3k...

    They dont need rebuilt every 30k, its just a suggested preventitive maintenance interval but shock oil is shock oil, if it brakes down in a King it will also brake down in a Fox or bilstein, the advantage of a rebuild is that you dont have to do a full replacement when your shocks go bad. If anything shock rebuilds are an advantage.

    My kings will outlast the life of the truck with rebuilds, bilsteins and such will need full replacement.

    Seems the best price on the kings is from headstrong off-road for $2,214.98. The deaver springs are expensive so wondering if these would work well with the Dakar medium springs..?
    Looking at the jba uca's as well.

    Did you CALL them???? don't look at internet prices, there is a minimum they are allowed to advertise.

    Dakar medium pack will work just fine.

    X2 on the calling part like you mentioned in another post. Sounds like you got a smoking deal. List at HS for Kings with no adj, Dakar medium pack, and SPC uca go for $3,247. Well done sir.

    They ride really well. I use my truck to travel far. Did the golden road in Maine in record time this year. Handles washboards great. Had a section that was 37 miles of washboards. Drove straight with no bump steering. I actually use the clickers all the time. Fast huge hit logging roads to get to the mountains. Then I soften up the high speed compression and put the low speed compression down to medium and I get almost no body roll when I slide off of g out.

    I did non resi 2.5 Fox front, with 2.0 remote resi rear with compression adjusters (roof top tent off and on), Icon UCAs, OME carrier spacer and Icon aal all for under 2800. I also go Archive garage ubolt flip with super bumps to bring me right to about 3000.

    I have to say the ride is fantastic on all roads I’ve been able to get to so far, and the handling is improved.

    I know this is very subjective but is there a big difference between fox and king..?
    Comparing apples to apples as close as possible.
