I don't mind spending the money, i just don't want to have to buy something else cause i should have went with this brand instead of the other. I don't really plan on rock crawling or OR for fun, just to get to the camp spots really. I daily about 2k-3k a month on the truck all over AZ, so driving on highway/street comfort is important. With that said, do you think kings over the icons? FYI first truck ever, have no clue about all this, i've spent the last couple months researching reading thread after thread :help:

Icons are digressive and generally not preferred. They have a tendency to leak and have the worst customer service.

I think im going to pull the trigger on the OEM kings that was recommended with the adjusters since i will be both on and offroad and it will be nice to adjust them to what i am doing. Commuting/offroading
Little pricey but should be worth it✌

All valid points...cool story is TW is slowly accepting this reality. KING FTW!

Hell yea brother...its pricy, but its a real investment for the ride. Im starting to build up my girls Xterra and Im looking to get her some OEM kings with clickers as well. I have forgotten how much a front and rear can take a hit on the wallet, but hey man it has to be done right.

by the sounds of it i would go with 6112 kit and 5100 or 5160 in the rear. In the long run you can always do a add leaf pack with UCA.

i really do feel that this kit would give you everything that you are looking for and at this point i wouldn't spend the money on the kings ....

this kit is on sale right now for $1,180 at

I spent alot of time researhing off road suspension and components and finally settled on the King 3.0 shocks with Total Chaos UCA's and Deaver leaf pack in the rear. On road ride is awesome and much improved over the Bilsteins that came on my 2018 trd offroad package and off road the Kings soak up the woops and the bumps like you would expect. Smooth as butter. You will not be disappointed if you go with the Kings. I'm running 33's on 12.5/17's20180810_165025.jpg 20180810_165012.jpg 20180825_183052.jpg
