One last thing just in-case, I do not see this pop up too much but I had a wicked vibration issue. I posted on another thread about how I fixed it. I didnt add to his thread that it is MUCH easier to put the shims in before putting the leafs on the truck. Unsure if this would be an issue if you go this route but just a heads up:wave:

OK so a question from a nube. If I were to do a 2 or 3-1 lift or leveling, must I replace the factory OR shocks too?

I did a carrier bearing drop. This helped my front rear drive line angle but the rear shaft was still off which is where the shims came into play. I have read conflicting reports on the diff drop but a majority says its not a good idea on the 3rd gen. I have not done much if any research on it so I cant really give an opinion on it one way or another but I guess it might mess with certain components ie crawl control.

25001-121’s are expensive but if you do a shock relocation kit you can run king 2.0 or 2.5 smoothies (much cheaper) then you can get the Dakar pack right off the bat.

Extended only offer about .75” of extra travel. Very little impact.

A level kit requires only spacers and/or blocks for the rear that you mate with your original suspension. So no, you would not have to get new shocks.
I heard the same. For what Im going to be doing, I dont think I need EXT's. Better for my wallet too. lol

I'll probably do a little more reading on it. If it saves my CV's I might be able to deal with the downsides of the drop, but then again, Im not really sure what the downsides even are.
