I’ve had mine for ver a year and it really makes the truck pop. If mine does crack I don’t care...I fix it or go to the junkyard.

I've had mine for over 2 years in Missouri with over 100 degree temps down to below 0 temps and I've had no problems at all with mine. I didn't tighten the bolts that much either, so I think sometimes they might get over tightened.

I'd follow his Facebook for sale prices. July 4th sale was posted on there. Still no cement though (to my knowledge).

I’ve been running my BAMF recessed grill over 2 years without issue. Well the only issue is that like once a day someone stops me trying say how fricken cool it looks. And I’m like, I know bitch. Get out the way now

Well. I did what @JLee said not to do and over tightened. Honestly thought over tightening meant to the point where there was a fair amount of resistance haha. My bust, I should’ve watched the plastic as I was tightening. Lost two grommets but at least he sends replacements.

Questions for TW BAMF grill owners: is this gap normal? I spent way too much obsessing over it last night. I know there’s a gap; but is it usually this large? Also the left side runs slightly uneven. The side I overtightened at first was the bottom of the grill. I can’t tell if maybe I some how warped and flexed the plastic?

i didn’t even see this thread (ended up being 3rd or 4th page back on search) sorry @JLee for the pm, I can see now thatsbeen asked countless times :frusty:

Curious if the center/backplate can be removed while on the truck or if you have to remove the whole grill? I can’t quite decide if I want stock, gloss black or mgm. Looking from the pictures the gloss black pops more than mgm which seems subtle. Thinking it might be best to get the stock and wrap the backplate to decide on a final.

I imagine orders are backed up since Black Friday, if I could get a pass on asking once how many grills, recessed, are on backorder (and I understand you do more than grills) if I ordered today

Last question- what’s the word on @mesojdm matching hood scoop grill?

Not likely a lot of backorders. This grill is incompatible for 2018+ due to TSS so they probably aren’t getting much of any orders for it since anyone with a 2016 or 2017 already own one.

I realize it’s not tss compatible but I’m still wanting it- the recessed look is the best I’ve seen. I’ll unplug tss for the time being and try to custom mount it at a later date. At least that’s what I have planned

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
You can remove the center bar with the grill on the truck it's 6 bolts on the back side. We don't offer gloss black any more due to lack of sales for that color. we have a 40 plus grill back log from the sale if ordered today it would be some time in January.

I seen the hood scoop a while back but that was about it. we were not contracted to build anything for him.

LOL no lack of orders here there is thousands of Pre TSS Tacomas on the road that are still looking to upgrade. The amount of sales on our grilles are just fine for us. The back order is at least a month.
