Thank you! I left the lower part black as I felt it looked better that way. I’m not sure how well it will hold up, but I’m not against touch ups.

It got a few coats of primer (mainly so I needed fewer coats of white) directly over the black powder coat. A light sanding after primer with 200 grit which smoothed out the finish (a little) and then 12 cans of the dupli-color Toyota super-white that I ordered online. It took 12 cans because the color match paint only comes in the small cans. Then I topped it off with a couple coats of clear, mainly to help keep the white easier to clean.

In hindsight, I would have just gone with another generic white spray paint. With the textured finish having the actual matching paint really doesn’t matter. That’s what I’ll do when I eat around to doing the rear.

FWIW, I've heard that regular Rustoleum white cans, white in color, gloss paint is a near perfect match to 040. Even better than the Dupli-Color.

I'm going to find out soon enough myself. Need to paint an OEM end piece so I can get rid of my stock bumper. Tore it off doing fun stuff and broke some tabs, so ordered the new part and needs sanded and painted.

I see. Im in the NYC area so I may get some shit from the boys in blue but ill figure something out. Also I just got some armor for under the truck, Skid plate and a tranny plate. Does the skid plate install fairly easy or does the second bottom piece of the eBay bumper get in the way, when I ordered the skids I thought to myself, this shit might now cooperate! lol

After I cut notches in the lower section (apparently mine didn't come with holes already cut) for the 2 front skid bolts, it works fine.

I have a grinder and cutoff wheels. So I didn't complain about my $600 bumper missing a couple holes. Still have a few more to drill on the side brackets to get all the small hardware in.

Wait so you had no skidplate holes and no holes for the bottom to connect to the main bumper? Damn thats shitty! But im sure you can drill the holes way straighter than the company eyeballed it

    Lol! Also yes.

Nah, I have the 2 outermost holes that go into the crossmember, but not the inner holes for skid plate bolt access.

Im thinking of ordering the rear bumper but also need the rear hitch. I saw that the All Pro hitch is what works with these bumpers but I also saw that All Pro is lagging on getting orders out so I should get one from Low Range offroad. I can't find the hitch on their website. Anyone have a link or is All Pro ok now?

Forgive me if this question is buried somewhere in the 355 pages of this thread. I like the looks and capabilities of these bumpers. However, would your airbags still work in the event of a crash with these bumpers? Would that affect your insurance in any way as well?

Some Aftermarket bumpers have pieces that will crush in the event of a collision, most just bolt straight on the frame. I doubt these have anything like that. In most cases you'll be fine, otherwise it may damage your frame. Not sure how insurance handles this but I'm sure they would probably just total your vehicle if the frame was bent as usual.
