    Where is the fuel filter located on a 07 Tacoma?

    shackle brace, rear sway bar, 3 gen seats, Coupe Shifter, 3rd gen OR front springs + shocks, 17" TuRD PRO replica wheels
    Fuel filter is part of the pump unfortunately. Only way to change it is to drop the tank.

    There is no "proper" fuel filter in your truck. The filter mentioned by tinker_troy is a sock over the fuel pickup tube, which does a good enough job of screening out particles to keep the injectors from plugging. But I would not call it a filter. Anyway, the factory system works fine and 99.99% of owners will not see a problem related to fuel filtering. Some people have installed aftermarket inline fuel filters, you could probably find those threads with a search.

    As others have said, it's inside the tank. URD makes a external filter conversion though, and it makes the fuel filter super easy to change. Did mine for the first time in about 10 minutes last night.
