Exactly, by 10 am I am usually 40 to 50 oz deep already. About 64 oz for the day on average. Black.

For whiskey - I also do Bulleit or Whistle but I'm not too picky and try to get a new bottle twice a year for our Maine fishing trip so I'll keep some of these suggestions for September. Typically just drink on the rocks. I like the look of that wedge and glass combo too! Nice find @Noelie84

Off topic but I know we have some bow hunters in this group. Looking for a starter bow to get into hunting this season (I know I am late on this already) but I have shot a bunch in the past and think I will pick it back up quickly. I am looking at the Mission Hype DTX but open to suggestions.

Just got my permit in the mail for the local watershed archery only area.
I can go in on the 18th and set up my ladder.
    It's coming quick!

Tried some recently cause I've been curious about the whoopla I've been seeing. (I'm awful and didn't get names/brands) Tried 2 at a hotel for a wedding, honestly they we super light with minimal flavor compared to what we are used to. Tried a Japanese Scotch last weekend and that was delicious, had a lot richer of a flavor and burn. I'll see if I can figure out what I tried.

Sounds like a cop out but I would say go to your local archery shop and shoot some bows. They all feel different and shoot different, same as buying a gun.

I hunt mostly with a crossbow now since my shoulders and arms are all wonky due to injuries/surgeries, but I still take the compound out for a spin.

My current compound is a Bowtech Assassin from 2012.
Compact, light and shoots great. Didn't break the bank either.
There's just sooo many good bows out now.

    Have you considered used?
Guys are constantly trading in bows every year or two for the latest and greatest.

A friend still uses his 20 year old Bowtech Solo Hunter. Still works as advertised.

It's super handy. I just got it this past Christmas and it's great. Doesn't dilute my booze but keeps it nice and cool.

Yeah I have a plan to go to a shop in NH next Friday and shoot a handful actually.

So I am kinda weird and I have some eye problems so I am heavily left eye dominant but I am right hand dominant. I think I will have to shoot lefty and just get used to shooting lefty but I want to spend some time at a shop getting fit and setup. The used bow market is HUGE and I will certainly go there for future purchases, I think I will just get fit this first time.

Eagle Rare is real good, especially for the price. I got a nice Single Barrel Select Bulleit as a thank you from my VP a couple months ago, that was damn good.
Woodford Reserve, Elijah Craig and Basil Hayden are good go-tos as well. I just picked up a bottle of Colonel eh Taylor but haven't opened it yet. I go through bottles slowly, I'll have 1, maybe 2, pours a weekend.

I love the Japanese whiskey/scotch lineup - I wonder which one you had.

Yea I have a can of that at home - I use the pre-mix at work since it's easier to deal with. Just add hot water and go

In the summertime I go through a lot of limoncello and gin. I'm more of a gin guy. I like mixing up a negroni a couple times a week as well. Just got through making a batch of homemade limoncello using Everclear a couple weekends ago.

Has anyone here had a positive frame replacement experience in MA? Maybe a terrible experience?
If so, please let me know where you went. I live right by 2 dealerships but would gladly drive further for better service.
I'm trying to decide where I want to take mine to get inspected.

My Uncle In law (?) got it done out here in Berkshire County and had a good experience it sounded like when I was talking to him about it, if you would like I can find out where he went, not sure if we are too far away from where you live in MA.

@smcgill had one recently. Don't know where he went, but he had a F250 diesel as his 'rental' during the swap. Think he ended up trading in his tacoma after, though?

Limoncello is a great way to close out a night. gf's dad home makes his with everclear as well. Negroni is my go to cocktail, if not then a gin and tonic. Love me some hendrick's!
