Super Lube is what Total Chaos recommends for the poly bushings on their UCAs. That's what I use on my UCAs too. When I used to install a lot of camber kits, they always came with a clearish grease very similar to what Energy Suspension gives you, the stuff is a lot tackier than Super Lube but as far as I know it doesn't come in a tube for grease guns.

Super Lube is also clearish. Super Lube as makes a silicone lube available for grease guns but Total Chaos just recommends the regular Super Lube. The tackier stuff that ES gives you works better IMO but I never had an issue with Super Lube as I can grease the zerks whenever needed.

    What’s up fam?

Just want to share all the work I put into my ‘96 Taco it took me half a year to do this type of big job and it’s also my first time working on a 6 banger 4x4 project. It turned out to be ok.. but I went through a lot of work.. I put in blood, sweat, and tears, on this big project... I was spending a few hours every weekend working on it.. Honestly, there was a time I was gonna give up on it but I just pushed it through faced the obstacles and by having faith to myself it turned out to be alright.. I’ve just done my first 500 miles break in I changed the oil and filter right away, no leaks, engine running smooth, no knocking sound, shifting smooth, no more white smoke, no more rubber gunky smelly coming out from the exhaust..

Energy Suspension Formula 5, same stuff in that little packet they send you - damn messy but (@eon_blue) no squeaks or issues yet - used it on the Daystar bushings Wheelers included with my greasable shackles and also on my ES bushings. Manual load the grease gun. They really need to sell it in tubes.

I dont know what is right or wrong but after pouring over countless posts about OME installs and squeaky dakars along with 20 questions with Wheelers, I decided to:
no squeaks yet - time will tell.

EDIT: I know this was posted here somewhere since that is how I came across it, this article is a good read. Their ultimate advice - stick with whatever the manufacturer of the bushing recommends. https://www.suspension.com/blog/the-best-grease-for-polyurethane-bushings/

eh. All I know is none of my stuff has ever squeaked. Ever.

At least not a bushing I can lube up.

    Whatever works..works though.

Cool thanks, that sounds like the stuff that came with the Daystar kit. They are poly bushings I believe with a metal sleeve; sleeve has a hole through it to allow the grease to reach the bushing. I'll look into it and see if I can pick up a tube for a grease gun...the bolts have zerk fittings so should be pretty easy to do.

I've done a mod or two
Don't go too hard on the grease for those any resistance and the zerks will pop out of the bolt as they're only press fit, they aren't tapped and screwed. If they pop out you'll have to get new bolts or tap the hole and screw a zerk in.

Looks like Daystar sells their own flavor. The tubes are for mini grease guns. Even more expensive than the ES stuff. I have no experience with this Lubrathane stuff though, just saw it on Amazon.
