should post this in the "what have you done to your 1st gen lately" thread. might get more exposure. and maybe add a better pic of the font of the bumper. are there no holes for a license plate?

I'd make an insert out of some sq tubing to go into the receiver, and then mount a license plate frame on it. Easy to remove if you need to use the receiver.

Nice!!! When you did you order it? I ordered one May 15th. They told me 3-4 months.

    No winch cutout?

-drill 2 hole, buy a hawse license plate holder. This will give you easy access to your receiver cutout since it's a flip up style license plate holder.
-buy a foot of 2x2 square tubing, fab and weld on a license plate holder. Mount that to your bumper receiver, this way you can remove the license plate holder and access your receiver. You don't have to do any drilling to your new bumper, but this way it may rattle on the trail.

    Good luck

I had them leave out the winch area and add a receiver to accept my winch and my snow plow. The insert sounds like the ticket thanks guys!

How long did it take to get your bumper after you ordered it?

Finally getting some more shrockworks guys, only about 3 total that I've found. You'll be 4

Took mine about 8 months to make, well worth it in my opinion.

Looks great! Thanks. I’m just under 3 now. I didn’t get the light hoops, grill hoop only. Did you have to weld frame supports?

Not sure how they do with the 95-97 but I had to weld the end caps on, believe in the instructions it was better for winching.

Did they charge extra for the "special order" with receiver instead of winch mount? I just saw GreeGunc's the other day and wondered if they would put a reciver in it. I have a Warn XD9000 on receiver mount for my other truck. Do you access the pin through the holes under the receiver? I really like that bumper.

@TTT uses Velcro and it works great! Super simple, no holes drilled and easy.

Definitely my favorite front bumper of all time for the 1st gen. If it wasn't the wait time (8-9 months) I was quoted, :annoyed: I'd own one,and sell my ARB.
    Looking good guys.

I made one with a flat piece of steel welded to some 2in square tube, drilled some holes for the pin.
