Ok so I'm from CT, it's been a dream to go out there... Plus in sort of a newbie so question I must! I'm not worried about the truck but I'm wondering if it's ok to bring my bike. It's a dual sport with plates on it... would anyone mind me being out there, including law enforcement?

Slick rock is brutal on a bike I would recommend easy trails only and making sure to have back up . Aka a truck to put the bike in and ride out in in case something happens. I remember having to rescue a bike out of kane creek cuz the blew up the clutch trying to get and Enduro through the trail

It's a KTM 350 EXC-F basically a four stroke dirt bike. I'm ok on it and the harder the trail the more fun I have. I like a challenge!

Ah I see. Maybe not a good idea, I mean I can stay on easier stuff and I'm definitely not looking to break it after paying a shit ton.

Just do an easy trail with a group of truck for the first time to be safe and if all goes well then hit a hard trail still with a group of trucks

Yes definitely I plan on following trucks. I'm not the smartest but being so far from home has me intimidated. Plus who will carry my gas lol!
I appreciate the heads up big-time. I will be following up with you guys later.

since this is my first year attending this and I have never been to Moab (besides driving through from GA to WA), can anyone pull up a couple google map/earth images of where exactly the group the camps. ALso, where the camping is in relation to the wheeling? This is kind of a bonehead question and may require a little bit of time for someone to do, BUT i know I cant be the only one wondering this, which is why I have decided to blast the ? out to the masses.

Any input and help would be greatly appreciated! Obviously I can get to Moab, but I have NO IDEA in relation to that, where this shindig actually takes place.

    Thanks!

Not sure if it will be in the same spot this year (I’m assuming it will be though), but all that info can be found in last years thread.

So are more riding spots on the east or west of hwy 191? Since each of those two spots previously passed are split by the hwy.

Side note: how packed does Kens Lake get around that time?
